Two new technical books will be published in May, Investigation, Remediation and Protection of Land Resources by Dieter D. Genske which discusses the huge problem of degraded land, and the Dictionary of Energy and Fuels by Clifford Jones and Nigel Russell which provides a new and much-needed reference. It will be of great value to students and professionals whenever a ready-reference on energy and fuels is required.

Following later in June will be another major geomatics title, Applications of 3D Measurement from Images by Professor John Fryer, Dr. Harvey Mitchell and Dr. Jim Chandler. This state-of-the-art book  is designed with explanations for both the non-expert and the experienced 3D imager and will have a wide appeal to traditional non-users of photogrammetry such as marine biologists, geographers, police, engineers, medical specialists, archaeologists and those involved with 3D graphics.

The long-awaited new book by Hamish Brown, The Mountains Look on Marrakech, a trek along the Atlas Mountains will be out early in June – prepare to be enthralled as you experience exotic Marrakech with Hamish as your guide!

We are delighted to be working with two of the UK's foremost nature photographers, Peter Cairns and Mark Hamblin, on an exciting new project, Tooth & Claw, living with Britain's predators. This stunning and thought-provoking new book displays 150 visually arresting images and includes documentary-style case studies which explore different facets of our lives alongside Britain's predators.
